Vaccination is the single most important measure for preventing yellow fever. The vaccine is safe and highly effective and a single dose provides lifelong immunity.
Several governments require all travelers older than 9 months of age to show proof of yellow fever vaccination upon arrival. People who are traveling to such countries must ensure that they get vaccinated against yellow fever around 10 days prior to travel. WHO advises travelers going to countries where yellow fever occurs to get vaccinated and carry their certificate of vaccination when travelling.
The vacacination doesnot affect only national living in these respective countries, it affects every body coming inn or going to any other country,
On the other hand too those who wish to go gorilla trekking in Rwanda are required to have a plied for the visa in advance and to make a follow up after submitting your application form, its mandatory to have an approved response which will be showed up on the actual day of arrival at any entry points into country of thousand hills. Much as you love to see the gorillas but withought an approved visa , how would you make it to the gorilla territory when you have been denied the visa.
How long should I wait to receive copies of my gorilla passes after payments are done?
Its true that by all means one would need to have scanned copies of his/ gorilla passes as an evidence that one has booked a vacation , but in this paspective the duration time at which one would need its ddiffers depending on the method of payment one has effected the payment.
Payment by Visa: This is one of the Digital new payment method through which ones card is charged and with this payment method, money would take 2-3 working days within the week , after an agent would need atleast an extra day for the withdraw and make payments to RDB which is the official body for permit withdraw for the case of Rwanda if its Uganda wildlife authority, the process would be the same but if the gorilla trekking date is still amonth ahead, the procedure is to handle those whose trekking dates are close and you will be served last or 3 weeks to your trekking dates. Here a tleast one would need almost 2 week patience of time, that’s why we also ask for booking for your gorilla permits in advance.
Payment by Wire transfer: this form of payment is the most widely used method as it eliminated fraud in the foreign currency system , how ever the payment method may take long depending to how many intermediary banks money has to go through before it receives to the receiver’s account. So a week would be necessary to be the time frame for one to receive the money , giving it around figure of 2 weeks for one to receive the scanned copies of the gorilla passes.
